The K9 Collars Standard Bark Collar is fully waterproof, suitable for most dogs and is equipped with a standby mode to promote longer battery life.
The K9 Collars Standard Bark Collar picks up the vibration from the dog’s vocal chords when it barks. The patented vibration sensor cannot be falsely activated by other dogs barking or external noises.
On the first set of barks, the collar is activated and gives an audible “beep” warning and a harmless static stimulation at a low level correction. If the dog heeds the warning and is quiet for 30 seconds, nothing happens. The collar will then automatically reset to the first correction level and switch back into standby mode.
If the dog does not heed the warning and barks again within 30 seconds of the last bark, the dog will automatically receive another audible “beep” warning and the next level of correction. The collar has six progressive levels of correction, automatically increasing each time the dog continues to bark.
When the dog stops barking for a full 30 seconds, the collar automatically resets itself to the first level of correction and goes back into standby mode. The dog quickly learns that “woof” means “beep”, “beep” means “shush” and they do. This sends the dog a clear command to be quiet. K9 Collars Bark Collar allows the dog a warning bark but stops annoying continuous barking.
